Tasmania is well known for its Pinot Noir, so it is fitting that it produces some amazing Pinot Noir cask Single Malt Whiskies too.

DEW003 is single Pinot Noir cask release, highlighting the beautiful partnership of Tassie whisky and wine.

Pour a dram, sit back, give your Glencairn a little swirl, and then inhale. You will be greeted by the familiar scent of cherry and spice, with subtle floral tones that aren’t masked by the toffee coming through.

As you partake in your first sip, your palate is first greeted with a sweet explosion of cherry and subtle toffee, which settles into a warm, cosy spiciness that coats the palate.

When you sit back and relax, you will be left with a long finish - with all the good things that you can expect from a Pinot Noir barrel - sweet fruit, chocolate and oakiness. This will keep you wanting more…

Bottled at 45.6% ABV, our third release is rich in cherry and spice, with hints of floral and lingering chocolate - what more could you ask for?

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Strong notes of cherry, toffee and spice with a touch of floral - think cherry blossoms.
Palate: Cherry and subtle toffee, which settles into a warm, cosy spiciness that coats the palate.
Finish: A long finish with notes of toffee and chocolate, and an underlying oakiness from the Pinot Noir barrel.
