Whisky Sour

This was Sam’s favourite cocktail on a cruise from Venice to Monacco a few years ago! Whisky Sours are amazing when someone else makes them for you, but if you want to make your own, here’s an easy recipe for you.

Ingredients
60ml Drifters End Distilling Company Single Malt Whisky
20ml Lemon juice, preferably freshly squeezed
15ml Simple syrup
15ml Egg white (optional but worth the effort)
Ice
Garnish: Lemon peel
Method
1. Add all ingredients, except the ice, to a shaker and shake vigorously for just under a minute
2. Add the ice to the shaker and shake for another 30 seconds
3. Strain into a glass without ice in winter, or over fresh ice if it’s a hot summer day
4. Garnish with a the lemon peel
5. Sip away!
